Location???

We are in a favored location: “right in the middle” of the way from Nova Friburgo’s downtown to Lumiar (15 min by car). We are 10 min from the southern bus terminal. Bus to Lumiar, São Pedro or to Nova Friburgo’s downtown passes on the road close to the Pousada (100m). We are 6 min from Mury where a taxi stop and many restaurants are located.

Please find bellow several ways to come to the Pousada, depending on your point of origin. It is a good idea to print it or take notes for the road accordingly. Have a good trip!

a)    From Rio de Janeiro

* Via Rio-Niterói bridge: after crossing the bridge take the BR-101 freeway towards the Região dos Lagos. After a 50km radar control, at Itaboraí, leave the freeway and get the RJ-116 towards Nova Friburgo. In Mury, km 73, take the right towards Lumiar on RJ 142. At km 5.5 you turn left and 100m more you arrive at the Pousada (well signed on the road).

* “Via Parada Modelo”: take the Rio-Petropolis (BR 040), following through BR-116, Rio-Teresópolis up to Parada Modelo, taking the (RJ 122) to the right towards Cachoeiras de Macacu. Drive towards the mountains on RJ 116 to Nova Friburgo and at km 73, on Mury, take the right towards Lumiar (RJ 142). At km 5.5 you turn left and 100m more you arrive at the Pousada (well signed on the road).

b) From Macaé and Região dos Lagos

* “Via Serramar”: Access to the Serra Mar road (RJ 142) is at km 199 of BR 101 in Casimiro de Abreu. You will drive for 35 km up to Lumiar. After Lumiar keep going towards Nova Friburgo. At km 5.5 you turn right and 100m more you arrive at the Pousada (well signed on the road).
